I can't just upgrade because the main room I work out of is running Mavericks and PT 10 TDM, so I need to use a compatible version with both rooms. What do I do about recalling older projects?

I was mid project and having computer issues, so I can't use the old system to wrap up projects. Is this even legal? How can a company say "you can't use a product you paid for because we decided it is too old" I just learned that in moving to my "new" computer I cannot activate my Komplete Ultimate library because it has been "End Of Life"'d It was on display in the bottom of a locked filing cabinet stuck in a disused lavatory with a sign on the door saying ‘Beware of the Leopard.” “But look, you found the notice, didn’t you?” “Ah, well, the lights had probably gone.” “On display? I eventually had to go down to the cellar to find them.” It reminds me of hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy: Unless you count them posting a web page that I would never see. What also really irks me is that I was given no warning as a license holder. The instruments sound good, but logistics are more important. Native Instruments has shown me that they do not value a human being's time, and have absolutely no idea why recalling a session might be important to their customers. This made me dead in the water for a week. Having to explain myself adds yet more time spent on this major inconvenience. There is no download available for me for any legacy version of Kontakt. But I have it running 5.6.6 so that it is compatible with the in-studio computer. Just keep calm and provide good info like this and everything should be sorted out!Native Access does not successfully activate any of the kontakt instruments on this machine. Like, you provided more useful info here in this thread after I asked you nicely, than in your ticket to NI (my pal looked at it, seems he's still awake - but you will be contacted tomorrow).

I understand your frustration, but when your anger prevents you from providing useful info to support, you cannot exactly expect useful answers back. Service Center can be promptly uninstalled, since it's not going to work anymore at all. Waaaait, you have troubles on Mojave, not 10.9? You don't need NA 1.1.3 then, Mojave runs the latest version of NA just fine (it's also why old NA is autoupdating). Mind you everything was working perfectly (albeit slowly) last time I checked, before I moved the contents of this hard drive from an ancient macbook to a new-to-me 2013 mbp

Service Center won't run, it's stuck on trying to update itself. Native Access 1.1.3 for OSX 10.9 tries to auto-update on my Mojave machine.

I am trying to help here, not troll you, but your tone and ad hominems makes me not want to help anymore.I'm sorry for being so angry, I'm used to having to get very rigid when corporations are trying to jerk me around and take advantage of me.īut it's frustrating, why should I have to be nice to someone on a forum to get software that I paid for to work. You have a different issue altogether - the libraries you listed are not discontinued at all, and are still supported (well they're all in the most recent Komplete still, so they HAVE to be activatable). I have all of those libraries activated through NA just fine (and many other people too), so this issue is not at all linked to the Service Center end of life.
